The NSW Government has announced the launch of the Engine and Emerging Industries Loan pilot program, funded as part of the Regional Development Roadmap to support sustainable and strategic investment in regional communities.
The pilot program is designed to assist regionally based businesses in food and beverage manufacturing industries to adopt advanced manufacturing capabilities.
Low interest loans of between $100,000 and $1 million are now available to eligible regional enterprises to fund activities that support investment in new technologies and equipment to increase efficiency and productivity.
The loan is available to eligible sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and private companies who operate in the food product manufacturing or beverage manufacturing industries in regional NSW.
Loans can fund activities that support the enterprise to implement its Business and Project Delivery Plan and invest in new technologies and equipment that will increase efficiency and productivity.
This investment from the NSW Government is part of the $35 million allocated from the Regional Development Trust to build long-term resilience in regional NSW, making it faster and easier for the region’s small businesses to thrive.
